The Trauma Informed Yoga series aims to increase self-acceptance and self-compassion.
Trauma-Informed Yoga provides a safe container for people to heal through movement and artistic expression. This series provides people with noticeable mental and physical benefits that will be seen throughout their practice.
Each class will begin with a psycho-education and activity component, and then move into a physical yoga practice that is accessible for all bodies and experience levels. The series explores the following themes throughout our 8 weeks together:
- Intention and orientation
- Safety
- Self-care
- Boundaries
- Assertiveness
- Strength
- Trust
- Acceptance and Self-Love
