About Nurtured Minds Wellness
At Nurtured Minds Wellness Group, we believe healing happens when people are met as whole humans, not as problems to be fixed.
The mind, body, nervous system, relationships, and environments we move through are deeply interconnected. When one part is under strain, the others respond. Our work is rooted in this understanding, offering therapy that goes beyond symptom management and supports lasting change through safety, connection, and skillful care.
Nurtured Minds was created from a desire to do things differently. To move away from reactive, short-term solutions and toward deeper, more sustainable healing. We support people through difficult seasons, life transitions, and long-standing patterns with an approach that honours both science and humanity.
Our Approach
Our therapists are holistically informed, trauma-aware, and grounded in evidence-based practice. We integrate somatic therapy, parts-based work, attachment-focused care, and nervous system regulation, always tailoring the work to the individual in front of us.
Forward movement matters here, but it is never forced. We believe growth happens when people feel safe enough to slow down, listen inward, and rebuild trust with themselves.
Nature as a Regulating Presence
Nature isn't a backdrop at Nurtured Minds. It is a regulating force and a teacher.
Our nature-based sessions and retreats take place on our forest property near Wizard Lake in Leduc County, offering space to step out of daily demands and reconnect with rhythm, sensation, and presence.
Inside our offices in Leduc, Nisku, and Calmar, this same philosophy guides our spaces. Rather than recreating the outdoors, our rooms are intentionally simple, warm, and grounding. They are designed to reduce stimulation, support regulation, and allow the nervous system to breathe. Whether indoors or outdoors, the environment is part of the healing.
A Word About Our Founder
Nurtured Minds Wellness Group was founded by Charlie Webb, CEO and therapist, who has worked in mental health care for over 15 years.
Through years of working closely with people across systems of care, Charlie witnessed the limits of a reactive, revolving-door approach to mental health. Short appointments, crisis-driven interventions, and stark clinical environments often left people managing symptoms without creating real change.
Over time, it became clear that healing requires more than strategies or insight alone. It requires safety, relationship, skilled care, and environments that support regulation rather than overwhelm.
Nurtured Minds was built from this understanding. A place where therapy can move slower, deeper, and with greater intention. Where clients are not rushed through a process, but supported in creating meaningful, lasting shifts.
