Hello, my name is Tyler! I am a practicum student passionate about psychology and dedicated to supporting individuals on their mental health journey.

Growing up in rural Alberta, immersed in the farming lifestyle and community, has shaped my understanding of hard work, resilience, and the importance of connection.

Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of working alongside diverse individuals, addressing a variety of mental health concerns, diagnosed disorders, and those seeking alternative forms of support.

Navigating Stress, Anxiety, and Life's Challenges

Life’s obligations, personal goals, and expectations—whether placed by ourselves or others—can often lead to stress and anxiety. These concerns can pile up, creating a sense of overwhelm that affects your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. For many, the full impact of anxiety or other emotions may not even be clear until it becomes too much to manage.

My goal as a therapist is to help you:

  • Identify the concerns or challenges you’re facing

  • Understand their impact on your mental and emotional well-being

  • Work collaboratively to create a plan that aligns with your goals

I strive to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health, encouraging individuals to seek support when needed. By working together, we can explore ways to promote personal healing—whether your challenges stem from recent events or traumas from years ago.

A Trauma-Informed Approach to Healing

I have focused my studies on helping individuals who have experienced crisis and trauma. I believe that every person’s journey is unique, and my therapeutic approach is tailored to meet the level of support you need. Together, we can explore what is most important to you, creating a safe and supportive space for healing and growth.
