Finding Calm and Connection: How Pat Supports Healing and Growth
If life feels heavy, overwhelming, or like you are spinning your wheels, it can be easy to feel alone. Pat wants you to know that you do not have to face it on your own. She creates a safe, compassionate space where people can show up exactly as they are and begin to explore what they need to feel supported, understood, and empowered.
Pat is a Master’s practicum student offering counselling in Nisku and Leduc, Alberta. With warmth and curiosity, she guides clients to uncover meaningful next steps, reconnect with themselves, and feel grounded in the midst of life’s twists and turns. For Pat, healing is not something we do alone. It happens in connection—with ourselves, with others, and with the natural world around us. Her nature-informed, collaborative approach helps clients feel seen, validated, and capable of real growth.
Experience and Approach
Pat brings both professional training and lived wisdom to her work. She has supported people from diverse backgrounds, abilities, cultures, and ages, understanding that no two healing journeys are alike. Her background in expressive arts, community building, body-spirit integration, mentorship, and nature connection allows her to approach therapy with a holistic lens.
She has a special focus on supporting people through grief and complicated loss, trauma and recovery, depression, stress, burnout, and spiritual growth and exploration. Pat brings a trauma-informed and spiritually sensitive perspective, helping clients who have experienced spiritual or religious trauma navigate their experiences, redefine meaning, and begin to heal.
Therapeutic Approaches
Pat draws on a variety of therapy approaches to meet each client’s needs, including:
Client-Centered Therapy
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Narrative Therapy
Attachment-Based Approaches
Nature-Informed Therapy
Expressive Arts Therapy
Mind-Body Practices
This range of modalities allows Pat to provide support that is flexible, compassionate, and tailored to each individual.
Supporting Life, Growth, and Connection
Pat works with individuals seeking help with relationships and communication, anxiety, stress, emotional well-being, depression, burnout and overwhelm, trauma, grief and loss, personal growth, life transitions, spiritual exploration, and mind-body connection. She meets clients where they are, helping them feel seen, understood, and supported while building tools to navigate life with resilience.
Beyond the Therapy Room
Outside of work, Pat finds peace and balance outdoors. Long walks in nature, time with plants, and quiet reflection are ways she reconnects with herself. Her desk reflects her approach to life and therapy: a space of care, calm, and clarity, always including a plant as a reminder of growth and grounding.
