When you do begin EMDR processing, you stay in complete control. You can pause, slow down, or take breaks whenever you need them. Many people are surprised by how gentle the process feels compared to what they expected.

You might leave feeling tired (processing takes energy) or you might feel lighter. Both are completely normal. Healing isn't linear, and we honor whatever pace feels right for your nervous system.
